Ryan in funny hat | January 20th, 2006
Here’s a photo from a clothing exchange we hosted last week: fifteen friends and more than 20 full trash bags of clothes to trade, all seasons. A pair of crazy sequined pants made the rounds, as did a fringed leather jacket. We ended up keeping some nice things (some pants for Ryan; boots for Jessica) and Ryan’s closet (from 30 pounds ago) supplied at least one friend with an entirely new wardrobe for work. All the leftovers — 17 bags! — are waiting for Goodwill pickup. It’s difficult to navigate our livingroom.
Ryan’s beardless here, but he has decided to grow it again.

awesome! I have done that before but not on such a large scale. I don’t even have 15 friends. you have just spawned a new party idea for me.
By the way…just got your wedding invite!…LOVE IT! LOVE IT! You’ve got skills! Seriously, it is perfect. You two make a beautiful comic strip pair. Wait that didn’t sound right. You know what I mean. We can’t wait for your big day!
Oh, we got 2 return cards. Are Mark and I supposed to respond seperately? or what’s the deal?

Nah, one card per family was the intention. Jessica stuffed all envelopes while I was gallavanting around work. So, all her fault. I am choosing to ignore her error and marry her anyway.

If anyone is looking for another blog to read on their daily blog-rounds, Ryan has been posting up a storm at monoglot.com, mostly movie related posts, but also some funny links.

Hey, Ryan & Jessica, love your announcement. It’s the buzz of the aunts & uncles. Margaret Lent for example says she wants to come, but not to drive alone to Phoenix. Do we drive to St. George from Salt Lake and pick her up when it’s so much easier to fly? Still in process. Don’t give us. Charming and fun, as you are. Love you
