I dare say that dad has probably never been inside a Wal*Mart and he is just glad because they didn't build one in his neighborhood.

Sarah, when's that baby coming?

dad, if my dislike for poor customer service and small, dirty aisles makes me an elitist, than I'll take that. do you go to walmart once a week?

ELISTISTS!
Everyone should spend a half hour a week in Wal-Mart every week to stay connected with the masses.

I'm not sure I've been in Walmart five times in my life. The last time, I sat out a snowstorm in a McDonald's inside a Wal*Mart in Nova Scotia, probably more than doubling the total amount of time I'd been in Wal*Marts. There was me and about five wal*martians in the entire retail-industrial complex. They were very nice to me, but it could just have been their Canadianicity.

I've also heard that 1 in every 6 U.S. dollars is spent at Walmart. I have to say, I don't like that store either, but I do go occasionally. Sam's club is a different story. They have really good and cheap croissants, for example. Better than some i've had in Paris.

I despise that store, except when I need a cheap tape recorder, batteries or the like for school. I get the heebie-jeebies going in, but I can see that people go to pay less for things. I've been to the one on Northern and 59th 5 times in the last year.
