So…. | May 24th, 2006
I thought for sure the Suns were gonna lose. Then I guess somehow someone made a basket with half a second left. Woulda liked to have seen it. Yippee!
American Idol was good. It probably made my mother cry. Will never spend a penny on any of those artists, but that’s because I only spend pennies when it’s someone like Tracy Chapman or Alison Krauss or Sting or Big Head Todd. Anyway, it was good tv. I’m going gray to celebrate.
I want to know what’s going on with Lost without having to watch all 2 seasons. What issues were resolved tonight? Can someone give me a synopsis in 1000 words or less?
My little brother is getting married in 5 days. To my best friend. Double yippee!

Lost is the best show on television. You should watch all two seasons the way Jessica and I did, in about 5 straight nights. Your kids can fend for themselves for a few days, no big whoop.

No it’s not. House is the best show on television. Your little brother is marrying me in four days! Triple yippee!

I too would like to be filled in on the Lost story. I have been urged to watch but stuff happens. Seen bits of House, but not enough to be a follower. I have really enjoyed the apprentice this season. Loved Monday’s show when the last 2 women, who claim to be best friends, went at each other and consequently, were BOTH fired!
American Idol’s best moment: Clay Aiken wanna-be attempts to sing…something, and then almost has a heart attack when the real Clay Aiken joins him in song. I felt bad for the guy, but it WAS funny.

Yes, I cried. The emotional moments: Elliott Yamin and his mother Claudette at his hometown parade, and when Taylor Hicks won. I remember when he danced into the audition way back when, playing his harmonica, and it was clear he was something special. He may not have the vocals of Katherine, but he sure knows how to grab an audience. I confess I was clueless about Clay Aiken. I knew the kid was a C.A. wanna-be, but when the dark-haired, bangish guy walked out, I did not know it was him. Didn’t know until I listened to Beth and Bill this morning. Was answering phones and doors during some of his performance.
I loved the A.I. season! Will miss it.
