I hope the Kenyans gave Ryan a warm welcome after 50,000 years’ absence.

That’s just what I was thinking, Abby. Very cool, Neil. I heard about this research several months ago, and am glad you paid the fee to get it done. Haven’t had the time to read it thoroughly, but it certainly is interesting.

i’m wondering how/when the godfrey name emerged since our supergreat-grandfather of a thousandish yrs ago was apparently a raiding (scandinavian) viking. maybe somebody should purchase the-gottfreis.org .. fyi, if the sisters/mother did this we would get unique results via the mtdna of the maternal line (my results are from the y-chromosome marker of the paternal line, i.e. passed exclusively from father to son).

Let’s talk, girls. One of you swab, I’ll pay. Neil is really interested, as am I, in this familial research thing. I think he’s quite proud of his Viking line.
