Milo’s not chicken… | November 2nd, 2006
Milo threw out all the stops with his chicken costume, flapping his arms and scrunching up his nose in delight as we all oohed and aahed. No throwup (!), but a fun night with our firstborn on his first halloween. We’re enjoying autumn and the leaf-coated lawn.
In other news, though, my visiting teachee’s son accidentally shot his brother in the midst of a gang-related fight just around the corner from us. We made the 10 o’clock news. On that note, if anyone wants to come visit us…

You three are so cute! Abby, I don’t know if that’s a costume or what but I like the look. Tape optional. Who’s up for Zion in Oct. 07?

Ditto Diana.
Norah didn’t really dress up. You know…fourth child syndrome. Elliot’s first Halloween, we took off the wig and e=mc2 shirt from Ryan’s Albeart Einstein bear, and he wore that. It was pretty cute.

Sarah- ’cause I’m bad at posting.
Diana- I was a nerd for the night. Does nerdiness fit me? I’m always up for Zion, although in Oct. ‘07 Jamie should be studying his life away in law school.
Mom- Milo misses you.
Ryan- Thank you.
Emily- Didn’t Elliot actually dress up in Humphrey Bear-gart? I know there are pictures of him in it. He was ADORABLE!

Maybe his 2nd year, I can’t remember. You look too cute to be dressed as a nerd.

What did Milo the Chicken feel about the beautiful ice swan that showed up on your front doorstep?

There was no bird envy because Milo was slumbering. Very cool, though!
