Oh, yes, the hike across the bridge to Sauselito was about 4 1/2 miles. Other things we did, in case you care:
*took the elevator to the top of Coit Tower
*went to the Monterrey Aquarium on Cannery Row
*walked all over Golden Gate Park and to the Japanese Tea Garden
*walked around Haight/Ashbury and bought peace beads
    *ate lots of Ghirardelli chocolate
*ate clam chowder on Fisherman’s Wharf
*visited Winchester Mystery House in San Jose
    *bought trinkets in Chinatown
    *went to church in Salinas
*walked on the beach in Carmel at sunset

How could I forget one of the most amazing things? We lucked out to be there during Fleet Week; so we watch the Blue Angels’ show from the Golden Gate. It was breathtaking-incredible flying machines over the blue bay filled with dozens and dozens of sailing boats, blue sky ringed with fluffy clouds, and to add to the fun, the AirBus made 4 loops over the bay and bridge before its maiden landing in S.F.

What a super vacation! I like how you two (four) know how to live it up when you’re on vacay.
